RAKE Pinot and Chardonnay wines come from Destiny Vineyard in Los Alamos. Originally planted by Michael Werk and called Camp 1, this 4 acre parcel has been renamed to Destiny Vineyard and is now farmed by owner Tom Durant. This unique, North facing site is just west of the town of Los Alamos.  Consistent winds and cool nights help regulate temps while the rock ridden, loam soil, rich with various sea shell fossils, provides the arena for lush, structured wines with classic and spicy fruit components.
